Anti-Israel = Anti-Trader Joe’s

Anti-Israel activists are planning to de-shelve Israeli products from Trader Joe’s stores this Saturday, June 20. As the New Mexico Jewish Federation says, “It would be fantastic if all the Israeli products are gone before the boycotters arrive.”  One of the products – Israeli Feta cheese - Pastures of Eden Feta Imported - we use for our Kiddush lunches at Beth Shalom.

Help the Israel Defense Forces

Gabe Altus, the son of members Kate and Joel Altus has requested our help for his unit in the Israel    Defense Forces.  With the help of the local chapter of "Friends of the IDF", the Altus's are hoping to raise $3500, the cost needed to provide each of the 100 members of his unit with a Camelback Hydration Pack. 

$1,000 has already been funded through the CBS Tzedakah Fund and your help is now being requested.  If you are able and/or interested in participating, or have any questions, please contact Kate Altus at 206-525-3024 or
