Hanukkah at CBS
Hanukkah 2025 at CBS
Learn more about all of Beth Shalom's Hanukkah programs below — and remember to spread the light and warmth of Hanukkah by supporting neighbors in need! Here are two ways to make a difference:
- Donate new or like-new items to the Warm Winter Clothing Drive in the CBS lobby (through February)
- Bring non-perishable food items for the CBS Little Pantry. Drop off food items in the CBS lobby, or add them directly to the pantry box, which is located just north of the main CBS building.

Sunday, December 21 - Donuts & Dreidels: A Young Family Hanukkah Party, 10:00-11:20am
Join other Beth Shalom young families for Hanukkah crafts, dancing, dreidels, and snacks. Wear your Hanukkah pajamas (if you’ve got them), but also please bring any that you’re no longer using — we’ll have a Hanukkah pajama exchange table where you can unload pairs that are too small and grab ones that’ll fit now. We’ll also have storytime with children’s book author and publisher (and CBS member) Brianna Caplan Sayres, and she’ll have books available for purchase as well. Questions? Email youngfamilies@bethshalomseattle.org. Please register to attend by noon on Friday, December 19.
