7:30 PM - 1:00 AM Next Day"Each and every day, Torah is as beloved by those who learn it as the day it was given at Mount Sinai.” -BT Berakhot 63b
On Shavuot we celebrate and relive the experience of Torah and revelation. We also teach that there are 70 faces (panim) to Torah. We won't quite have 70 different approaches, but are excited to celebrate a multiplicity of approaches to Torah. Come join us as Beth Shalom members share a beloved text of theirs, and through that access a wide breadth of Torah.
Leil Shavuot Tikkun learning from 7:30 pm to 1 am, with a new class and sharing of a beloved text every half hour. There will be a break for for Maariv and a Cheesecake contest at 8:30 pm. Come for as many or as few sessions as you'd like
Confirmed teachers include: Reuven Betzalel, Rabbi Borodin, Colin Coltrera, Gus Feliu, Rabbi Fern Feldman, Beth Huppin, Tamar Libicki, Joshua Newman, Rabbi Rose, Norbert Sorg, Rachel Wachtel, Alison Sands, and Carl Sayres
