Kabbalat Shabbat
Love to sing?  Love to welcome in Shabbat with joy and community.  Join us for special song-filled Kabbalat Shabbat services on the 3rd Friday of the month ) in person & livestreamed. 
We plan to include many of Joey Weisenberg and Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz’s tunes in the services as well as tunes from our 2024 Musician in Residence, Batya Levine. We welcome everyone, both those familiar with the service and those new to the services.  Join us on these dates in 2025:
5:30-6:30pm on  1/17, 1/24, 2/21
6-7:00pm on  3/21, 5/16

After Lunch Singing
We’re carrying forward the energy and spirit from our Musician in Residence program through this year and beyond. Join us for soulful singing of niggunim and Shabbat songs after Kiddush lunch (1-2pm) on the first Shabbat of the month. Dates are:   1/4, 2/1, 3/1, 4/5, 5/3

Learning with Bill and Deb Mowat
Saturday, 2/22, 1-2pm in the Beit Midrash
 Bill and Deb traveled to Europe with the Anti-Defamation League in November.  They met with members of the Jewish communities along with politicians and ambassadors in Berlin and Brussels. With each of these groups, they discussed issues of antisemitism in  Germany, Belgium, and the European Union.  Bill and Deb will tell some stories about what surprised, delighted and dismayed them about this experience.
