Family & Children's Tefillah (Prayer)

Young Family Tefillah

Children 5 and under and their grown-ups (big siblings welcome, too!) are invited to celebrate Shabbat together with Rabbi Rose with joyful song, marching with stuffed Torahs, stories, and sometimes celebrating an upcoming holiday, too.  Services are free and open to the community; advance registration through the CBS website is required. We meet at 11:30 downstairs, in Room 4/5 on the following dates: 2/19, 3/5, 3/19, 4/9, 4/34, 5/14, and 6/4.

Torah and Tots- Not currently meeting

Join us for a fun Shabbat morning activity! We will sing Hebrew songs, play games, and do some Shabbat friendly art work. The program is for young children ages 2-5. Parents are welcome to come as well. It will take place at 11:30 am in room 4/5.

This program meets every Shabbat morning during the academic year except when Young Family Tefillah (above) meets.

Note that Torah and Tots takes place in the same space as Shabbat babysitting. All kids in babysitting are invited to participate, as is anyone who wishes to join just for Torah and Tots.

Kid’s Kehilla

Kids Kehilla is a fun, interactive prayer service for children ages 6 – 11. We meet the following Shabbat mornings from 11:30 until 12:15 (or until the main service upstairs is complete): 2/19, 3/5, 3/19, 4/9, 4/34, 5/14, and 6/4 in Room 7/8. During Kids Kehilla, children sing prayers, play games, and learn about Israel with our amazing Shinshinit, Mor. Please join us for a fun-filled Shabbat morning! Advanced Registration is required through the CBS website.

Shabbat Childcare

Want a safe, nurturing place to leave your children while you daven on Shabbat mornings? Great babysitters provide a safe, fun play time for children  during Shabbat morning services.  This program meets from 9:45am to 12:15pm every Shabbat morning on the CBS playground. Advanced registration is required through the CBS website.
