Serenity Shabbat, hosted by various congregations, focuses on addiction awareness and the wisdom of Jewish tradition as it relates to the spiritual practice of recovery.
Everyone is welcome, including members of the recovery community, friends and family who have been affected by a loved one’s addiction, and anyone interested in this unique spiritual experience!

Serenity Shabbat is a program developed by Jewish Addiction Awareness Network (JAAN). JAAN works with clergy, community organizations and leaders, families, and individuals across the United States crafting innovative programs focused on education, advocacy, stigma reduction, and supporting those in crisis. JAAN’s comprehensive resource website is a place for information and connection, featuring many voices sharing Jewish perspectives on addiction and recovery.
