Ahavat v'Avodat haAdamah will be hosting after-kiddush speaker Masha Vernik to share about the Jewish Seed Project, a collaborative of Jewish growers, organizers, storytellers, and researchers seeking to answer the question "What is a Jewish seed?". The group is entering their fourth season of reconnecting with and growing out qishuim, a cucumber-like melon believed to be tended by our ancestors and mentioned throughout the Torah and Talmud.
