Speakers include JTS Chancellor Dr. Shuly Rubin Schwartz, representatives of women rabbis marking “firsts” of many kinds, and members of the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards.

How has the presence of women in the rabbinate reshaped our interpretation of halakhah over the past forty years? We will explore this question through personal experience, historical reflection, and halakhic insight, considering the evolution of Jewish legal thought within and beyond the Conservative/Masorti Movement.
