You’re invited to join as the Kavana and Congregation Beth Shalom communities come together to welcome the High Holiday season. Through multiple modalities — ritual, learning, community-building, soulful music and prayer — we will engage in an evening of meaningful spiritual preparation for the High Holidays.

• 8:00pm - Havdalah ceremony to end Shabbat
• 8:15pm - Text study session with Rabbi Ronit Tzadok (a new addition to the Seattle Jewish community, formerly a rabbi at IKAR in LA): "A Season of Transformation"
• 9:15pm - dessert reception
• 9:45pm - Selichot service, featuring traditional and new High Holiday melodies, led by Rabbi Rachel Nussbaum and Rabbi Paula Rose.

Rabbi Ronit Tsadok recently relocated to Seattle with her wife and two kids. She is excited to be joining the team at Jewish Family Service as Director of Project Kavod, and looks forward to connecting meaningfully with the Seattle Jewish community.
