Beth Shalom's Religious School will celebrate Hanukkah with drop-in activities on Sunday morning, 12/10, 9:30am-12:30pm.

Hanukkah Class with Shalom Sabar from Israel
Sunday, 12/10 at 10am on Zoom

Shalom Sabar, who was previously a visiting professor to the University of Washington and a Beth Shalom member, is rejoining us from Israel on Zoom to teach about  Judith, Esther, and Hanukkiot. Please read the apocryphal Book of Judith beforehand.

Young Family Hanukkah Concert 
Sunday, December 10th
3:30-4:30pm

Join us for a Hanukkah concert with Chava Mirel, geared towards kids under 8-ish and their families!  We’ll celebrate together with singing, lighting candles together, and eating some mini doughnuts (and wearing Hanukkah pajamas or sweaters adds to the fun, too!)

Hanukkah in Moreshet Avraham

Join fellow Beth Shalom members and members of our sister synagogue in Jerusalem, Moreshet Avraham, for a lighting of the Hanukkiah and the "Story of A Menorah that Survived the Holocaust".
